पुस्तक कई वर्षों की मेहनत से मेरे द्वारा संग्रहित विभिन्न दैनिक अखबारों तथा सुभाषित, संग्रह पुस्तकों से एकत्रित की गई है। प्रारंभ के कुछ पृष्ठ स्वर्गीय डॉक्टर धर्मपाल जी द्वारा लिखित है। जीवन मार्ग दर्शन का कार्य यह पुस्तक करेगी। एक-एक वाक्य जीवन में प्रेरणादायक हो सकता है। उम्मीद है यह जीवनोपयोगी हो।

This book has been compiled by me over many years of effort, drawing from various daily newspapers and collections of aphorisms and quotations. The initial few pages have been written by the late Dr. Dharmpal Ji. This book is intended to serve as a guide to life. Each sentence has the potential to be inspiring in one’s life. I hope it proves to be useful and meaningful.

वह एक सेवानिवृत अध्यापिका है। लेखन एवं पठन में उनकी रुचि है। प्रारंभिक शिक्षा ग्राम रोझला, ग्राम हॉट में हुई। गुरुकुल खानपुर सोनीपत में बाकी शिक्षा स्वर्गीय माता स्वर्गीय नंदकौर व पिता चौधरी जयलाल के यहां जन्मी स्वर्गीय डॉक्टर धर्मपाल की जीवनसाथी। पुत्र अनिल व सुधीर की जन्म दात्री।
मृदु स्वभाव। एवं नाम को चरितार्थ करने वाली ‘सुखदेवी’।

The author and compiler, Sukhdevi Malik Deshwal, was born in the small village of Rojhla in Jind district. She is a retired teacher with a keen interest in reading and writing.

She received her early education in Village Rojhla and Village Hott, and completed the rest of her education at Gurukul Khanpur, Sonipat. She was born to late mother Nand Kaur and father Chaudhary Jai Lal, and was the life partner of late Dr. Dharampal. She is the mother of two sons, Anil and Sudhir.

Gentle by nature, she truly lives up to her name — “Sukhdevi,” one who brings joy.
